Petdatum User Agreement

Effective Date: July 19, 2026

Welcome to Petdatum. This User Agreement governs your access to and use of the Petdatum mobile application, website, and related services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Petdatum, you agree to this User Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use Petdatum.

1. Our Services

Petdatum is a pet information application that allows users to create and manage pet profiles, record and share pet-related information, upload photos, videos, and other content, interact with other users, and access subscription-based features.

Petdatum may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services from time to time.

2. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You may not use another person's account without permission or transfer your account to another person.

3. Pet Information and No Veterinary Advice

Petdatum provides tools for organizing, recording, and sharing pet-related information. Petdatum does not provide veterinary, medical, emergency, diagnostic, treatment, or professional animal care advice.

Any content available through Petdatum is for general informational purposes only. You should consult a licensed veterinarian or qualified animal care professional for medical concerns, diagnosis, treatment, medication, diet decisions, emergencies, or health-related questions about your pet.

If you believe your pet may be experiencing an emergency, contact a veterinarian, animal hospital, or emergency animal service immediately.

4. User Content

You may be able to upload, post, submit, or share content through Petdatum, including pet profiles, photos, videos, audio, text, comments, and other materials.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content to Petdatum, you grant Petdatum a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, modify for technical purposes, distribute, and use your User Content as necessary to operate, provide, improve, promote, and protect the services.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload and share your User Content and that your User Content does not violate any law or the rights of any person or entity.

5. Community Rules and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Petdatum to:

  1. Post false, misleading, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content
  2. Promote animal cruelty, neglect, abuse, or unsafe treatment of animals
  3. Provide or promote dangerous, misleading, or unqualified veterinary or medical advice
  4. Infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  5. Upload content that includes another person's image, voice, private information, or property without appropriate permission
  6. Sell, trade, or promote illegal goods or services
  7. Interfere with, damage, or disrupt the operation of Petdatum
  8. Use automated tools, scraping, bots, or unauthorized data extraction methods
  9. Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

Petdatum may remove content, limit visibility, suspend features, or terminate accounts if we believe a user has violated this Agreement or applicable law.

6. Location-Based Features

Some Petdatum features may use your device location, such as nearby pet-related information, location tags, local recommendations, safety features, or other location-based functions.

Petdatum will access your location only with your permission. You can disable location access through your device settings, but some features may not work properly without location permission.

7. Photos, Camera, and Microphone

Petdatum may request access to your camera, photo library, and microphone so that you can take photos, record videos, upload pet images, create posts, update pet profiles, or use related media features.

You can manage these permissions through your device settings. If you disable these permissions, some upload or media features may not be available.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Petdatum may offer paid subscriptions, premium features, or other paid services. Subscription terms, prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be shown before purchase.

If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party platform, your purchase is processed by that platform and is subject to its payment, cancellation, and refund rules.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date according to the applicable platform's rules. Petdatum does not control third-party app store billing systems.

9. Intellectual Property

Petdatum and its software, design, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, interfaces, databases, and other materials are owned by Petdatum or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Petdatum or any part of the services except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Petdatum may integrate with third-party services, such as app stores, payment processors, analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, login providers, maps, or other tools. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Petdatum is not responsible for third-party services, websites, products, or content.

11. Disclaimers

Petdatum is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or available at all times.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, or reliability of any User Content or pet-related information posted by users.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petdatum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use the services.

13. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Petdatum at any time. You may also request account deletion through the available account settings or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the services if we believe you have violated this Agreement, created risk for Petdatum or other users, or used the services unlawfully.

14. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Petdatum after the updated Agreement becomes effective means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement or Petdatum will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of New Hampshire, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
